A single course is the cheapest way to cover one requirement. Once your annual credit obligation climbs past 20 hours, membership does the same job for less per credit hour, and adds journals and travel benefits on top.
* 2025-26 tuition for a physician, dentist or attorney: $835 standard, $1,195 specialty. The 2026-27 courses that begin Sept 28, 2026 are $895 and $1,250. Yes. AEI courses are accredited and approved through nationally recognized accrediting organizations including ACCME, ADA CERP, and other profession-specific accrediting bodies depending on the course.
Most destination-based courses are 20 hours, 4 hours a day over 5 days. The exception is the State Requirements Course, which is 8 hours over 2 days and is designed as an add-on to a 5-day course. Courses run weekly in 55 destinations, and you choose the week that suits your calendar. If your annual requirement is larger than 20 hours, the on-demand library included with membership covers the balance.
Silver Membership includes AEI's full On-Demand learning library, NEJM & JAMA subscriptions, travel savings, cash vouchers, and additional member benefits. Gold Membership includes everything in Silver, plus one annual Destination-Based Course.
Yes. AEI Membership travel benefits may be used for both personal and professional travel, whether or not you're attending an AEI course.
Yes. You may cancel your membership at any time. However, memberships are non-refundable, as members receive immediate access to learning resources, travel benefits, subscriptions, and other included perks upon activation.
